Girkhbulaq

Girkhbulag district — Administrative territory in the 18th-19th centuries, named after the Qırkhbulag River. It served as an administrative-territorial unit within the Ottoman Empire in 1728, and was part of the Iravan province. The region was inhabited by Azerbaijanis. During the Ottoman period, the Girkhbulag region, later known as the Girkhbulag district, became integrated into the Iravan Khanate. Subsequently, the Ellar district was established within the Girkhbulag territory.

According to the overview book of 1728, the Girkhbulag region, situated within the Iravan province of the Ottoman Empire, comprised the following villages:
